Hardwood furniture maker and restorer

I’m Peter Davis and I produce hand-made furniture and wood related items in my workshop in Fort William, Scotland.  I always have a variety of hardwood cabinets, hand-made tables, chairs and hand turned table lamps for sale in my workshop. I am also able to make  unique wooden furniture to order from hardwoods and pine.

If you are furnishing your house or office you may like to consider the beauty of  natural wooden furniture to enhance the ambiance of a room.  My real passion in furniture lies in the Arts & Crafts style which is as relevant today as it was when it first came to prominence by the craftspeople of the mid 19th and early 20th century.  The simplicity and functionality of Shaker Furniture & design, is also a favourite of  mine.

My wooden table lamps are  unique and usually made to order but I often have a selection available for customers visiting my workshop. The lamps are hand-turned mostly in Oak and Ash but can be made in other woods, when available.

Antique furniture restoration and upholstery

Over the past 30 years I have fully restored well-loved furniture owned by individuals which has included beautiful antique chairs and tables, wardrobes and dressers. Provide a piece of furniture is holding together I can fully restore it including the upholstery

Small wood items for gifts and general domestic use
